A big Cookbook update on My Dream App (lots of screenshots)
This is probably is my most anticipated application for some time. Austin Sarner posted an update today about progress on Cookbook for Mac and it’s looking sweet! He announced Wolfgang Bartelme (designer of the TextMate icon) as the lead designer. And there’s a Flickr group that shows the evolution of the app.
Not how I remember them!
Was reading the top 10 movie one liners of all time and I stumbled across this article. The last time I played Top Trumps was actually at Christmas with Daz. He got a server set as a secret santa present. After playing for around 10 minutes we got bored and gave up but it certainly took me back to my childhood.
The pack I had when I was little, was sports cars and we used to spend hours playing to see who became champion. I didn’t do too bad as I could remember most of the details of each car and win 9 times out of 10.
I certainly won’t be playing this new pack of Top Trumps with anyone else other than Tilly. If I did try I’m sure I’d get very funny looks, though most of my friends would find it very funny and join in. Personally I think this sort of game opens up all sorts of possibilities of fun and exciting ways to play it with your partner.
